Welcome to the Phi Delta Theta Parents Association, your way of staying connected in your son's fraternity life. Phi Delt has been such positive experience for so many young men, and we want to help foster that experience as much as possible for our boys.
The Parents Association is a great opportunity for you to get involved in your son's college life. We believe that parent involvement is crucial to the success of our young men at Mississippi State and Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Please take the first step in supporting your son's fraternity life by joining the Parents Association today. (See gray box)
Your investment in the Association results in so many valuable benefits for you and your son. For example, the Shish Kabob rush party (a Phi Delt tradition) is a wonderful opportunity for parents to participate during rush week and experience rush with your son. All the food that night is provided by the Association.
The Association also sends a newsletter and provides a Parent Directory with the names and addresses of all the boys in the fraternity as well as their parents.
When my son graduates in 2012, some of his best friends for life will be his Phi Delt brothers. And the memories of road trips, formals, intramural, service projects and just hanging out are ones he will always cherish. This could not have happened without the support of our parents.
I hope you will join a rich history of parent involvement in Phi Delta Theta at Mississippi State.
