Letter From The President
September 22, 2014
Dear Parents of MSU Phi Delts,
Welcome to the Phi Delta Theta Parents Association, your way of staying connected in your son's fraternity life and his college experience.
I am proud to be the Parents Association President for 2014-2015. We have a great group of officers and I look forward to working with them and all of you.
You can click on the Officers/Positions link on the left margin of this page and see our officers and their roles. Feel free to contact any of us to answer questions or to get involved.
We believe that parent involvement is crucial to the success of our young men at Mississippi State and Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Please take the first step in supporting your son's fraternity life by joining the Parents Association today. (See gray box)
|Parent Association Dues are $100 per year.

Your investment in the Association results in so many valuable benefits for you and your son:
When my son came to Mississippi State three years ago, he knew two students. He is a senior this year and I know some of his best friends for life will be his Phi Delt brothers. The memories of road trips, formals, intramural sports, service projects, and just hanging out are ones he will always cherish. This could not have happened without the support of our parents.
We would not be officers if we didn't believe in these young men and the values of Phi Delta Theta, but we can't do it alone. I hope you will join a rich history of parent involvement in Phi Delta Theta at Mississippi State University.
- You are showing your support for your son's fraternity and you will get to meet the boys AND THE PARENTS that are shaping your son's views of fraternity life and Mississippi State;
- Funds support house projects and the famous Shish Kabob rush party (a Phi Delt tradition). This is a wonderful opportunity for parents and sons to participate in a portion of rush week together. All the food that night is provided by the Association;
- The Association will keep in touch throughout the year by producing newsletters and a Parent/Son directory; and
- We meet formally twice a year (at Homecoming and Super Bulldog Weekend) and it's FUN!
See you homecoming weekend.
